Dopey -hearts- Doe Wipe

What do you give a sweet little Dopey who has just had a major organ removed?

A sweet Doe Wipe cake, of course. (The design is from Cake Nouveau, but it was made here by me and two dwarfs while Dopey was catching up on some "booty sweep.")

Eve has a lot of extra room for food now that the Wilmy kidney is gone. And she's keeping up with Nat and Dan, if not outpacing them. I guess that extra kidney was just weighing her down.

  1. So glad to see your creative cakes. Doe Wipe looks great. I know you're glad to be home. Happy Day :)

  2. I love the cake, and I'm sure Eve did too! It must have been nice to get creative again after being stuck at the hospital for so long. Around here we have Cinberella, Yazmin, Sleepy Booty, Booty and the Beast, and the latest is Tinklebell. I can't bear to correct her, its too cute. Its a shame she may get picked on in Kindergarten though for not know ing how to properly say the princesses, oh well, still cute!

  3. I love it! You bet you enjoyed the chance to get a little creative and surprise Eve. Hope she loved the cake and is catching up on all her "booty sweep" and recovering well.

  4. Aaahhh, so cute! She looks great and very excited about her beautiful cake.

  5. I've been following all of your posts. I'm so glad to hear that your daughter's on the mend, and I love seeing her sweet little face. What a trouper!! Lovely cake, and we cakers know how therapeutic making one can be. Have a wonderful weekend with your family!

  6. I'm mom to Courtney Clark who made that original Doe Wipe cake. You did a wonderful job on your version!!!
We're praying for little Eve and your whole family! I had breast cancer surgery in late October. Cancer sucks big time!
    But...better days ahead!!!

  7. Linda, I'm a big fan of your daughter. We don't get cable so I don't get to see any of the FN cake competitions, which means I just have to stalk her website. She's so talented.

I hope you get your clean bill of health if you haven't already. Cancer sucks is an understatement, isn't it?
