The New Normal

Recently I was asked if Eve is aware of her illness. I doubt Eve thinks any of what she goes through is unusual. This is our new normal, and she just goes with the flow.

She often looks indifferent when people call her brave. Doesn't everybody go to the doctor twice a week for blood counts and blood pressure checks?

  1. Our kids are "lucky" not to find this all unusual...at least, lucky in cancer-land. Maybe Eve finds it more abnormal as her sibs don't have to do it...

  2. wow, i can see the new hair on her head. it reminds me of the bag-o-angel hair my mom used to get for the christmas tree back in the 70's.

  6. Kid's a are simply amazing, Jackson use to freak class mates out when he started going back to school after treatment!!! He thought it was normal for everyone to be hit by laser beams and have 14 in. scars across their bellies !! Oh their little minds, how beautiful !! They just don't know what little (big) HEROS they are.
