I dare you not to come. Just kidding. Please come.
I've written before what incredibly awesome friends we have. Well, let's talk about this Team Eve BBQ & Family Fun Day Fundraiser that they have been working so hard on---
Umm...Danny's BBQ! Hot dogs! Two of the 4 major food groups in full representation (the other two being nacho cheese and bacon).
Pelican's SnoBalls! (Because it's a really fun thing to write. SnoBalls!)
Bounce houses! (To let your kids bounce off their SnoBalls!)
Popcorn! (Popcorn, I said!)
Mini-sessions with Jo's PhotoMojo! (To capture you eating your popcorn!)
Face painting and caricatures! (With REAL artists! None of those imitation artists!)
Kids' games! (With PRIZES! But not a rip-off like the State Fair!)
A cornhole tournament! (Uber-fun! But stretch out your arms first, because I was sore for days after playing in the last tournament. Although, this is coming from the girl who always gets sore after Wii bowling.)
Messy Chef cakes! (Seriously! Bring extra insulin. French vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, carrot, almond, lemon, and piña colada. They are low-fat if you do ten minutes in the bounce house first!)
A silent auction! (Because you're too loud for a regular auction. I'm not even privy to everything that will be there, but according to the Team Eve page, there will be a weekend mountain getaway, jewelry from both Fink's and Holland's, camps and parties for the kids, spa treatments, wine and cooking baskets, and tons more. And I am donating the world's best coconut cake. Because you need dessert for Sunday supper. MSRP? Priceless.)
Ballerinas! (Yes, really, ballerinas! Because Eve loves them.)
So really, were your Sunday plans any better than what we're doing?
